Nasty Gal Hot List #2

I'M BACK! I know it's been a long while but I'm officially back and ready to blog! I have handed in all of my uni work on time and my presentation a few weeks ago went better than I'd anticipated. I've spent my last few days at home which has been lovely. I had such a nice Christmas! I hope you all did too.

But now I'm back and ready to blog. To celebrate my return, I'm going to do a fun post on Nasty Gal. I've already posted about the American site but as I'm obsessed with it and lots of new items have been added since then, I thought I'd share with you a few of my fave things. Firstly there is the clothes:

1. The 'Shortcut' Chiffon Blouse is such a cute take on the traditional shirt. I love the cut outs along the front and the back - they add such a funky twist. The asymmetric hem just adds to the quirkiness which I love. The pretty ivory colour keeps it subtle and understated. At only £23.93, this top is such a steal!

2. The 'Harness' Jumpsuit is certainly something! I absolutely LOVE it. I love the classic black colour and the rolled up hems of the trousers - these details, as well as the v-neck front, give it a real androgynous look. Then the back comes as such a surprise! The sexy cut outs and metal detailing give it that WOW factor. I want to buy this jumpsuit and wear it with some heels with an ankle strap (like the JC's featured in this post below), silver rings and a chunky bracelet, matte-red lipstick and a scraped back pony-tail. Beautiful.

3. The 'Lotus' Dress is so cute! I love everything about it. It's vintage feel is something I'm really into. The bell sleeves, the cut out front, the delicate buttons and the flowing fit make it such a statement piece. This dress is so versatile! It is perfect for festivals: wear with a fedora hat to disguise unwashed hair, some Dr Marten boots, a waxed Barbour jacket and lots of jewellery. It is also perfect for nights out: add some huge heels (Topshop's Artemis Heels or Topshop's Austen Boots would be ideal), a slick of coral lipstick and flowing, wavy locks.

4. The 'Bead It' Bolero Jacket is one of my absolute favourites. I'm such a sucker for beading! I love the cropped look and the cut shoulders. It has such a laid back look despite being so glitzy. The black make it perfect to wear with everything. At £57.94, it's such a good price! I NEED to buy this jacket soon.

5. The 'Ibiza' Silk Wrap Dress is stunning. It's so breathtaking. The style of the dress is perfect - I'm constantly trying to find dresses with this cut because it's so flattering yet cool. The colour is AMAZING! Granted, it may be too loud for some and it isn't ideal for all situations but just look at it, it's DIVINE. I'd wear this in summer (it'd look perfect with a golden glow!) with some tan heels and a gold box clutch. Add a slick of matte-orange lippy and a delicate gold arm cuff and you're ready to go!

6. The 'Siouxsie' Crop Top is so wrong, it's right. I know a PU cropped, halterneck vest shouldn't be acceptable but my God, it is! I want to wear this with long, beaded chiffon jackets, high-waisted denim Levi shorts and chunky black sandals in Ibiza next summer. I want to wear it with a tartan print skater skirt and black platform boots for a night on the tiles. I want to wear it in the day time with a high-waisted maxi skirt, leopard print boots and a fur jacket. Basically, I want it. At £30.23, there seems no logical reason why I shouldn't have it. Order now? Yes please.

Then there's the accessories:

1. The Jeffrey Campbell 'Tilda' Platform Heels are so classy yet modern. I love the metallic detailing - the heels have such a futuristic look about them. I'd wear these with almost everything to dress up an outfit. I'm constantly trying to find my perfect strappy heel and these JC's are definitely a contender. Just make sure you have a nice pedi!

2. I know I shouldn't like these Jeffrey Campbell 'Ramble' Boots but I really, really do. The round toe and the black suede are very simple but contrasted with the chunky, wooden heel you get a very unique boot. At £100.77, they're a decent price for such a good quality pair of boots. Do I bite the bullet and buy them? That is the question.

3. The 'Shadowbox' Clutch is the PERFECT box clutch. It's the perfect size to hold - not mini but not oversized. It also has a convenient strap if you want to wear it different ways. Love, love love.

4. The Twisted Metal Cuff is amazing. It's so quirky - a real statement piece. It looks like a much more affordable version of a Celine or Hermes bracelet. At £12.60, it's a bargain! It looks so expensive! I want to wear this in the summer with a dark tan, bright nails and a white dress. Wonderful.

Have you been lusting over anything on nastygal.com lately?

Wishlist Item #5

Yet again I am really, really sorry I haven't posted in a while. My life is literally MANIC at the minute with work and uni. I have so many assignments due in over the next week and I even have a presentation which I'm ABSOLUTELY dreading!

With so much to do right now, I probably shouldn't be doing this sneaky blog post but I thought I'd give myself a little break and do something I actually enjoy! I've found a gorgeous, little Topshop number to brighten up my day so I thought I'd share it with you. It's Topshop's Premium Embroidered Kimono and gosh, is it pretty!

I love everything about this jacket, from the mesh material to the tassles to the embroidered pattern - it all just works. I want it for jazzing up simple dressed-down days: throw on with skinny jeans, a black vest, some studded boots, lots of silver jewellery and a top knot for a laid back look. I want it for dressy nights: add to a leopard print, body-con, midi skirt; a black, velvet bralet; black, platform boots and a black clutch for a glam, rock chic vibe. But most of all, I want it in my wardrobe RIGHT THIS SECOND! At £50 it's on the expensive side but just look at it - it's SO worth it! I hope to buy it real soon. I NEED it in my life.

Now I must admit over the next few days, I doubt I'll get a chance to post things as I'll be so busy (and probably having a nervous breakdown - arrrrgh PRESENTATION!) But once this week is over with, there will be no stopping me! I promise. Expect lots of wishlist items, lots of style picks, lots of celeb crushes and lots of OOTD's.

I'll be back soon!

Zara Hot List

I love Zara. It's always so stylish and slick. There are over 1,500 stores across the world making it one of the biggest retailers.  Zara is a Spanish company created in 1975. I definitely see this European vibe in their clothes - they're very polished and simple. I want SO much but I've picked my six, ABSOLUTE fave items for you:

1. Zara Faux Leather Sweater is such a nice wardrobe staple. It's a wonderful twist on the simple black jumper. The faux leather panel on the front gives it a really expensive look - you'd never guess its less than £36! I picture this with a camel coloured boyfriend coat, black skinny jeans, leopard print boots and a lady-like black bag for a casual yet chic day of shopping!

2. Zara Houndstooth Trousers are AMAZING! At the minute, I have a major crush on printed trousers. I can't get enough of them. Houndstooth is still very current so these trousers are a definite must in my opinion. They can be dressed for both smart and casual situations which is also fab! Love, love, love.

3. Zara Coat with Quilted Leather Sleeves is my perfect winter coat this season. I love everything about it: the black colour, the quilted leather, the silver zip detailing, the perfect length, the textured material... I just NEED it. At £139, it's a little on the expensive side but it's so worth it - just look at it!

4. Zara T-shirt with Faux Leather Sleeves is another fab wardrobe staple, like the sweater I mentioned above. I love the grey colour and the V-neck - it's the classic tee. The faux leather sleeves give a little edge and add some playfulness. I'd wear this tee with a leopard print body-con midi skirt and some chunky, black boots for a 'I've-just-thrown-this-on' kind of look.

5. Zara Faux Leather Jeggings are brill! I've wanted some leather trousers for SO long! Because these ones are faux leather, they're a fraction of the usual price for real leather pants at under £40! Bargain! I love the ankle grazing length and the zips around the hem. They're perfect for both day and night so you'll definitely get your wear out of them!

6. Zara A-Line Dress is such a smart, little number. The coated material make the dress look SO expensive! At £50 it still isn't cheap but it's definitely worth it as it will still be in your wardrobe in years to come! The LBD definitely outlives all the trends each S/S and A/W as it's so versatile and classic. For a Carrie Bradshaw-esque look, I'd add a colourful, beaded blazer and some printed heels. To toughen the dress up, I'd add lots of silver jewellery, some platform boots and dark purple lipstick. For a refined look I'd add simple, strappy heels and a metal, box clutch.

Have you got your eyes on any Zara goodies at the minute?

Recent Purchases #1

This month I've bought a few items so I thought I'd share them with you. I have splurged quite a bit on boots recently - I'm such a sucker for black, leather boots. Ps, sorry if the quality of these photos aren't too great, I need to invest in a really good camera but until then this is the best I can do. I hope they're okay!

Office 'Nighthawk' Boots

These 'Nighthawk' boots are literally AMAZING! They're such a statement! I bought them last month, so I'm technically cheating including them today in my 'Recent Purchases' post but as it's my first post about things I've been buying (and that they're so special!), I thought I'd include them. I LOVE the studs all over them and the three buckles. They're certainly a STAND OUT piece. I've been wearing them with literally everything in my wardrobe - which is weird, I know. They jazz up the simplest of outfits which is handy! At the minute, there is £25 off these boots so they're only £55 which is amazing! I've got my eye on the red pair too...

Topshop 'Accost' Boots

Topshop's 'Accost' boots are the cutest ever! Their little heels make them perfect for day time wear as well as night time. The studs at the front are delicate rather than tough, which is a nice take on the recent studded phenomenon. At £90 (well £81 with student discount!) they're quite expensive but I can just tell I'm going to wear them death, plus they're 100% leather so I know they're quality stuff.

Topshop 'Alert' Boots

I saw these 'Alert' boots in work and literally fell in love. They're so simple and classic yet a little quirky. They're 100% leather which is great and the chunky, heel is small enough for running around during the day. I love the pull on style and the funky cut out edges of the soles. They come quite high up on the ankle, ending at the skinniest part of your leg, so they're really flattering. I would recommend them to anyone. LOVE.

Topshop Biker Jacket

I tried to get a photograph of this Shearling Biker Jacket hanging on my rail, but my lack of creativity and photographic talents made every shot look silly, so I thought I'd just use the original Topshop snap. I don't plan on taking it off my back so you'll see it popping up a lot in my OOTD posts, which will be coming very, very soon! I included this jacket in my October Topshop Hitlist post a month ago and now I own it which is exciting. I love how snug it is - it's so stylish yet practical. Definitely one of my fave buys!

Topshop Polo Crop Top

Similarly to the above item, I tried to get a photograph of this Polo Crop Top in my room but it just wasn't working for me. I'm sure it'll be included in an OOTD post soon so you'll get it to see it on. I love it - it's so cute and the colour is gorgeous! For £10 it's a COMPLETE bargain. I think I'll snap it up in 'Black' and 'Ink' too!

Expect more 'Recent Purchases' posts as my spending sprees continue! Have you been splurging on anything recently?

The Great Gatsby

It's been a WHOLE week since my last post! Waah, I promise I will be much better. I've just had such a busy week! On Thursday night I went to see a psychic (which was fun but suuuper scary!) then I went to see Breaking Dawn: Part 2. I spent a couple of days home then I've been at work and uni every day since. So, I've been a very busy bee! But now I'm back with a post about The Great Gatsby...

The Great Gatsby is one of my favourite books so when I found out that there was a new film coming out next year in May (with a star studded cast including Leonardo DiCaprio - swooooon - and Carey Mulligan) I was too excited!

To celebrate, I'm dedicating this post to all things 1920s! The beading, the fringing, the head pieces, the faux-fur... I love it all! With these high-street buys, you can look like an extra from The Great Gatsby yourself. Faaaaaab!

1. River Island ball clutch bag is such a quirky, little bag. I love that it's in the shape of a sphere  as it's a little different. The grey metal is gorgeous, it has such a nice shine! The clasp on the top is very practical and cute. I'd wrap the chain handle around my wrist so the bag hangs to about hip level and add one of the dresses I've featured in this post, some jazzy earrings and strappy heels.

2. Topshop tipped fur scarf is such an expensive looking piece. At £25 I think it's a really good price. It's perfect for reinventing old coats and jackets and adding an extra something to dresses on cold nights out. It's practical for the everyday look too; wear it through the winter months to keep you nice and toasty. The deep red colour is gorgeous too! Love.

3. Warehouse jewel drop earrings are so cute! Rich jewel colours like teal, purple, emerald green and burgundy are perfect for costume jewellery. With these earrings, the teal coloured jewels are a real nod towards expensive, vintage jewellery. They're such a statement piece. I'd wear my hair in a refined up-do, with simple make-up, so the earrings do all of the talking!

4. River Island sequin flapper dress is absolutely beautiful. I saw it in store and it really is gorgeous. It's available in black too but I think the light pink colour is much more delicate and feminine looking, which was the look of the 1920s. All of the beads really work with the simplicity of the cut of the dress and the tassels are wonderful. I want this dress! At £150 it's quite pricey but I think it's an investment piece that will stay with you for years so it's worth it.

5. Topshop flapper maxi dress is stunning. More of those jewel colours - this time in the emerald green (which is one of my favourite colours) - with beads in different shades of green. Instead of creating a whole 1920s look with this dress, which would be a bit over-the-top, I'd vamp it up to create a contrast between the traditional style and the modern, grunge look of today. I'd add some chunky, black platform boots; a gold cuff; lots of gold rings piled high; a gold, metal, box clutch; dark, purple lipstick and a messy top-knot. LOVE.

6. Topshop crochet maxi dress is perfect for dressy evenings in the coming months then warmer days in the summer. It's subtly pretty. I think the crochet element is lovely as a little bit of skin can be seen but it's still classy. For a night on the tiles, I'd dress this up with some leopard print, platform boots; an oversized, soft, black clutch; lots of silver jewellery and some orange lippy. For a sophisticated event I'd add strappy heels; a gold, metal, box clutch; a gold cuff bracelet and some matte, red lipstick. For a chilled, dressed down day I'd add an oversized denim shirt, some Doc Martens and a black bowler hat.

7. River Island pearl and crystal cape necklace is such a striking statement piece. I love all of the little details - the tear-drop pearls, the string pearls, the crystal gems, the gold colour. They all make it such a lavish item. I think it is a little overpriced at £85 but I had to include it because it is such a lovely necklace. This style of necklace is perfect for dressing up simple items like vests and tees.

8. Oasis 'Merlot' clutch bag is very 1920s. It isn't my usual choice of bag and it isn't something I'd use for a casual night out. I would only use it for a very sophisticated evening where I was channelling this era. I think it would be perfect with the Topshop crochet maxi (6) for a ball or prom. For an iconic, old-school glamour look, I'd make like Marilyn Monroe and add a slick of Matte-red lippy and have my hair is soft waves around my face.

9. Reiss 'Tatjana' blue crystal embellished heels remind me so much of the famous 'Something Blue' Manolo Blahnik heels Carrie gets in Sex and the City. They're beautiful! If I were to look at a pair of shoes and say they were 'me' - these shoes wouldn't be the ones I'd choose BUT I had to include them because they're so 1920s and they're so GORGEOUS! If you think they're very 'you', they'd look fab for a formal ball, a wedding or a sophisticated, family/work party. I'd style them up with a simple, pencil style dress or skirt and minimum jewellery so the shoes are the statement.

10. ASOS hanging crystal and chain hairband is SOOOO 1920s yet current today. It could be worn for nights out with a cropped tee, a velvet skater skirt and high-heeled boots for dressing up a casual look. It can be added to formal dresses and strappy heels for a sophisticated event. It can even be thrown on to disguise bad hair days in the day time with an oversized, camel coat, skinny jeans and loafers. Brilliant.

What do you think of the 1920s trend? And who is EXCITED for The Great Gatsby film!?

The 2012 Designer Pudsey Collection - Update

Ten days ago I published a post about the Designer Pudsey bears created for Children in Need. The bears went on sale last night so I thought I'd give you a quick update on how the auction went.

Lots of celebs attended the auction including Nick Grimshaw, Pixie Geldof and Abbey Clancy. Models, singers, actresses and designers were also snapped with the bears as they were auctioned off:

From left to right: Marc Jacobs with the Louis Vuitton bear, Kristen McMenemy with the Alexander McQueen bear, Sharleen Spiteri and Cara Delevigne (in a panda onesie nonetheless - could she be any cuter!?) with the Sibling bear, Jaime Winstone with the Fendi bear, Chloe Moretz with the Versace bear and Daisy Lowe with the Katie Hillier bear.

The night was a HUGE success making a MASSIVE £152,200 for Children in Need! The star of the night was Giles Deacon's Swarovski Crystal encrusted Pudsey which collected £24,000. Coming in at a close second was Louis Vuitton's bear which raised £20,000, followed by Tom Ford's Pudsey which was auctioned off for £12,000. The McQueen bear raised £8,500 and the Gucci's Pusdey was sold for £6,800. Both Versace's and Victoria Beckham's Pudseys made £6,500 each.

All in all, the Designer Pudsey Collection was such a BRILLIANT triumph - Katie Grand should be proud!

Tune in to Children in Need 2012 tonight on BBC One at 7:30pm to donate to such a brilliant cause and to catch performances by Girls Aloud and One Direction!

Wishlist Item #4

Now these heels really are a WISH, though sadly not a realistic one. I've wanted them for months but at over £800, I doubt I'll be donning them anytime soon! They're Christian Louboutin 'Un Bout' PVC heels. They're from the Spring 2012 collection and come in a number of different colours: black, neon yellow, red and silver.

Black is definitely my favourite as they're classic and chic. The PVC element of the pumps is so different and the toe cap is definitely still in fashion at the minute. The famous flash of red on the sole is something I dream of... I know one day I WILL have a pair!

Celebrities in Christian Louboutin 'Un Bout' Heels

A lot of celebrities and fashionistas have been sporting these beauties. Pictured above, from left to right, is: Solange Knowles, Emma Stone, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Beyonce and Bip Ling.

What do you think of these shoes?

Evening Wear at ASOS

I love ASOS. It's a haven full of stylish brands, hot designers and up-to-date looks. I'm forever checking their 'New In' page as they have approximately 1,500 new products introduced each week so you're ALWAYS spoilt for choice. The website is used in over 200 countries and attracts 16.6 million unique visitors each month. Wow!

If I did a post on ALL of the pieces I love from the website, I'd be here all day! So I decided to dedicate this post to evening wear on ASOS as the countdown to Christmas has began. These gems are perfect for Christmas bashes, work parties, glitzy meals and New Years Eve.

1. ASOS maxi dress with low back is gorgeous! It's super simple and expensive looking - at £30 is a complete steal. I LOVE the cut out V shape at the back, it's subtly sexy.  The column style of the dress is lovely, I think if it was super fitted and clingy it would look a bit cheap. I'd wear this for dinner on Christmas day. I'd add a pair of strappy heels - these Zara leopard, studded high-heels (which I LOVE!) would be perfect - and and a chunky gold necklace. This is one of my favourite looks, I love it.

2. Aqua 'Loren' one shoulder dress in orange is such a striking dress! It's available in pink and black too but I think the orange is such a gorgeous colour I had to chose it. It's perfect for brightening up a cold, winter night and adding some fun to a Christmas party. I love the cut of the dress - the asymmetry, long sleeve and draping make it such a unique number. I'd keep the jewellery to a minimum and add a clutch and strappy heels for something special like New Years Eve.

3. Religion 'Olsen' dress is a simple but beautiful dress. I love the thin spaghetti straps - I'm a HUGE fan of them. I think the chiffon skirt with the mini underskirt is such a good idea because you're still covered but your legs can be seen so it's a little sexy. I'd style this dress with some super high shoes or boots like Topshop leopard print 'Lassie' heels or Topshop black 'Arielle2' boots, an oversized clutch, some dark lipstick and lots of silver rings and bracelets.

4. ASOS diamond back midi dress is absolutely divine! I love the bright yellow colour and the tiny beading - it's gorgeous. The length adds class and the cut out back is subtly sexy. A colour like canary yellow will certainly make you stand out in a crowd! I'd add some strappy gold or nude shoes and a gold metallic box clutch. If I was wearing this dress I would also want my skin to look a little sun kissed, a healthy glow and bright yellow complement each other lovely - so get booking your spray tan appointment girls!

5. ASOS 'Art Nouveau' blazer and ASOS 'Art Nouveau' trousers with a simple white vest or shirt is a stylish alternative to a dress or skirt when getting ready for parties this Christmas season. I love a good suit - they're so sleek and sexy. The pattern on the fabric of this one is wonderful and I love how the trousers are cut a little above the ankle - it's the most flattering. I'd probably roll the sleeves of the jacket back a little so my wrists are out and add a chunky, gold watch just to play into the androgynous trend a little more. I'd then contrast this with some kick-ass heels like Zara studded heels and an oversized black, velvet clutch. I'd add some coral lippy, a top-knot and I'd be ready to party!

6.  ASOS jewelled, open back midi dress is beautiful. I love the nude colour with all of the luxurious coloured gems. It's definitely a chic, party dress! Christmas needs a bit of glitz and sparkles so this dress is perfect! I'd add Topshop 'Reflect' heels and a small black, hard box clutch. I'd keep my make-up and jewellery to a minimum as the dress has so much going on, I wouldn't want it to be overkill. There you have it, a sophisticated yet fun work party outfit!

What do you think? What will you be wearing over Christmas?

MTV EMA's 2012

The MTV Europe Music Awards 2012 were held tonight in Frankfurt, Germany. The star-studded bash certainly had some looks - granted, some better than others - but two ladies completely stole the show for me. My two stand out beauties were Rita Ora and Taylor Swift. All I can say is wow!

Rita Ora

Rita Ora looked striking in a voluminous, red Marchesa dress. I love, love, love the detailing on the body of this dress. The red, lace pattern over the nude is GORGEOUS. Red, shiny material is a bit touch and go for me but in this case, I think Rita pulls it off. The billowing skirt adds tons of drama - Miss Ora even had a mystery man carry the back of it as she made her way inside of the building! Her signature blonde, bouncy curls and slick of red lipstick give the dress an edge - it's the Rita look we all know and love. Good work!

Taylor Swift

My jaw literally dropped when I saw these photographs. I don't think I've ever seen Taylor look so good. The J.Mendel dress  she's wearing is utterly stunning. The delicate beading and the white colour make it such a dreamy dress. I love the vintage inspired look - she looks like a '20's goddess. Her understated, wavy hair and smoky eye make-up accompany it perfectly. I love how she's kept the jewellery to a minimum - who needs it with such a breathtaking dress? Not only did Miss Swift look out of this world, she also celebrated three - yes THREE - awards. Taylor won Best Female Act, Best Live Act and Best Look. Well she certainly had the best look of the night in my eyes. Bravo Miss Swift, bravo.

What do you think of these two looks? Who is rocking it better?

Wishlist Item #3

I've wanted this ring for SO SO SO long. I love it! It's the YSL 'Arty' ring in with the blue-flecked glass stone. It's been on my wishlist for months, I need to get saving up for it!

I love the colours of this stone, gold and navy are two colours which compliment each other perfectly. It's such a stylish ring. As it's £180, I'd probably wear it on special occasions rather than for every day life. I wouldn't forgive myself if I lost it!

Lots of celebrities and fashionistas have been spotted wearing this ring (if it's good enough for Alexa Chung, it's good enough for me!) so it's definitely cemented itself as a fashion must! It is available in so many other coloured stones, there is: 'Mint', 'Brown with coloured swirl' (so pretty!), 'Red', 'Bright Blue', 'Pink', 'Coral' and 'Navy-flecked turquoise'.

If you're looking for a cheaper copy cat you can find really good replicas on Ebay for as little as £6! I'm thinking of buying one of these until I've saved up enough for the real deal.

What do you think of this ring?

The 2012 Designer Pudsey Collection

For Children in Need this year, Love Magazine editor Katie Grand has organised for 30 international designers and 2 magazines to design one-off Pudsey bears. The 28-inch bears are currently on display at Selfridges in London and Manchester until November 14th. The majority of the bears are being auctioned off on November 15th at Christie's and the others are being auctioned online at the minute. Each bear is completely unique - there is suede, silk, leather, Swarovski Crystals and signature prints. The money made from each Pudsey will go to the charity.

My favourite from these 16 cuties are definitely Giles Deacon, Tom Ford, Burberry and Jonathan Saunders. Don't get me wrong, they're all GORGEOUS but those four seem extra special to me. Giles' Pudsey is embroidered with £20,000 worth of Swarovski Crystals. From afar it looks tatty as though loved and cherished by a child for years but up close it's luxurious and exquisite and I think that's what I love most about it. Tom Ford's Pudsey is SO Tom Ford: a dapper suit, sunglasses and smart brogues. Perhaps that's why I adore it so much. After all, it is the most suave teddy. Burberry's Pudsey is everything Burberry is about. It's quintessentially British. I see quilting, I see browns, I see a cute Mac and I see an umbrella - Burberry in a nutshell. Love it. Jonathan Saunders' Pudsey is bright, colourful and fun. I love the geometric print, which is from their Spring/Summer '13 collection.

How cute are all of these bears!? Just like the last 16, I do love them all but I do have my favourites which are Mulberry, Louis Vuitton and Alexander McQueen. I LOVE Mulberry bags so when I saw this bear I fell completely love with it. Mulberry Pudsey was lovingly made in their Somerset factory just like their bags are so there is a real connection between the company and their bear. I love that Pudsey is sporting a Mulberry - classy bear! The Louis Vuitton Pudsey is adorable. It doubles up as an actual bag as it has backpack straps on the back. How clever! I didn't expect anything less from the world's most famous luggage maker. Lastly, is my favourite designer in the world - Alexander McQueen. Ahhhhhh, McQueen Pudsey is the prettiest, most delicate,  whimsical Pudsey ever. McQueen Pudsey is made from cherry blossom jacquard with tiny, gold 3D organza and enamel flowers. Beautiful.

I suspect when these cuties go to the auction LOTS and LOTS of money is going to be made for Children in Need which is wonderful. A selection of the bears are available for you to bid on now at: http://www.designerpudsey.co.uk/. I've just been having a look and already Missoni, Balenciaga and Pucci Pudseys are on £1001 each and Anya Hindmarch's Pudsey is on £1150. BRILLIANT!

Which are your favourite Pudseys?

American Apparel Hot List

I love American Apparel. I think it's perfect for simple, good quality wardrobe staples like leggings, t-shirts, vests, shirts and hoodies as well as more quirky original pieces like their Disco Pants, Afrika print and patterned body suits. AA originated from LA before expanding into 285 stores across 20 countries. I've picked a few of my favourites to share with you.

American Apparel Shirts/T-shirts/Vests

1. American Apparel velvet crop tee in 'Purple Reign' is such a nice, little top! I'm a massive fan of velvet and that combined with the rich purple colour makes this such a special number. The tight fit really works. I can see this with some high-waisted baggy jeans and loafers for day time chic or alternatively a high-waisted, leather, skater skirt and chunky black boots for night time drama! I love it.

2. American Apparel oversized button-up shirt in 'Bone' is my favourite shirt. It's so lovely. I love the colour, the oversized fit, the big pockets, the chiffon and the long sleeves - it's such a classic shirt. I'm going to buy this shirt soon, it's such a wardrobe staple! I'm going to wear it in the daytime with a sweater, skinny jeans, leather boots and a boyfriend coat. Then for night time I'm going to slip a leather mini skirt and a bralet underneath and throw on a pair of black heeled boots. B-e-a-u-tiful.

3. I've had my eye on the American Apparel stripe cotton spandex jersey turtleneck crop top in 'Crème Black Stripe' for some time now. I know what you're thinking - ANOTHER turtleneck - but I promise they're here to stay for a while and they're sooooo cute! I love the vertical stripe, it's very flattering. I think the fact its spandex is really helpful - it's perfect for throwing some shapes on the dance floor on a Saturday night! Gorgeous.

American Apparel Skirts/Trousers/Leggings

1. American Apparel chiffon full length skirt in 'Black' is gorgeous. I would wear this with a short, body-con, black skirt underneath compared to the longer, flared one it's styled with on the website. For a day at uni I'd add some short leggings underneath instead of a skirt; black, leather ankle boots (the studded Dr Martens in the wishlist item #2 post would be hot); my grey, American Apparel crop top; a black leather jacket and a red Cambridge satchel for a pop of colour. You could dress it up with black hotpants and bare legs; leopard print, heeled boots; a printed, sleeveless shirt tied above the navel so a bit of midriff is flashed; lots of jewellery and a top knot.

2. Now I know these American Apparel Disco Pants in 'Midnight Navy' and 'Black' are seen pretty much everywhere these days but I still really like them! I've wanted a pair for about a year but they don't really suit me very much. Saying that, I still admire and love them. I'd style them rolled up so the ankle is seen with a white, Topshop crop top; brown, suede, wedged boots; a beaded or leopard print clutch and lots of gold jewellery for a night out.

3. American Apparel velvet leggings in 'Black' are such a good item to have in your wardrobe. They go with pretty much anything and they're perfect for days when you need comfort and warmth. They'd look great with patent, black Dr Marten shoes and an oversized, simple, white v-neck tee for a chilled day.

American Apparel Tube Bras and Bodysuits

1. American Apparel printed cotton spandex tube bra in 'White Chalk Blue Nouveau Afrika' is such a nice bandeau. I love the pale colours - it's so fresh and light. It'd look nice beneath a thin white vest with a racer back and dropped arm holes.

2. American Apparel printed cotton spandex bodysuit in 'White Black Afrika' is such a good item of clothing! It'd be perfect for holidays abroad with some high-waisted Levi shorts and Converse or sandals. Alternatively, it's gorgeous for winter too with high-waisted, vintage, boyfriend jeans; a white chiffon shirt unbuttoned and tied at the waist; studded boots; a leather jacket; mittens and a fur hat.

3. American Apparel space scape cotton spandex tube bra in 'Navy Splatter' is such a such a pretty bandeau. It'd be perfect underneath thin t-shirts, chiffon shirts and vests with dropped arm holes and racer backs. I love the print - it looks magical!

Nicolas Ghesquière Leaves Balenciaga

It was announced today that after 15 years together, Nicolas Ghesquière and Balenciaga have made a joint decision to split. The split will be effective as of November 30th 2012. Ghesquière has been the Creative Director of the Paris Fashion House since 1997 so it came as SUCH a shock to the fashion industry when their split was announced earlier today.

Ghesquière is not short of followers and fans. Francois-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of the French luxury conglomerate Pinault-Printemps-Redoute said: "Nicolas has brought to Balenciaga an artistic contribution essential to the unique influence of the house." He is often photographed with beautiful celebrities wearing Balenciaga; above is Ghesquière with Chloe Sevigny, Kristen Stewart and Diane Kruger.

Pictured above: a few shots from Nicolas Ghesquière's final Balenciaga Spring/Summer '13 collection.

The question is what will Ghesquière do next? And who will fill his very large, very successful shoes at Balenciaga?

Wishlist Item #2

Today's wishlist item is a pair of Dr Martens black studded boots which I've fallen in love with. I have a pair of Docs in the original cherry red colour but they're too big for me so I was on the hunt for a new pair, when my eyes landed on these babes...

If that isn't a fierce boot then I really don't know what is! I love the matte all black look - I could literally wear these boots with ANYTHING! The studs are tough and cool, I think they're a really nice addition to the original Docs which were created in the 1960s. These boots are perfect for the winter months, they make ploughing through the snow so much easier!

I'd wear them with skinny jeans, an oversized coat, a simple jumper and a fur hat for cold days. Come spring/summer, I'd wear these with little lace dresses for a girly/tough contrasting look. I'd dress them up with a chiffon, black ankle grazing skirt and velvet bralet, with tons of gold jewellery and purple lipstick for a chilled night out.

The only slight downfall of these boots is the price: £275! Eeeek, but I NEED them in my life! I've decided I'm going to save up and maybe treat myself to them over Christmas. I feel they're vital - I don't think my wardrobe can survive without them...

Rita Ora at the MOBOs

WOWZERS! Someone was looking smoking hot at the MOBOs last night...

Rita began the night in a stunning, white Thierry Mugler dress with peplum detailing (HOW TINY IS HER WAIST PLEASE!?) and some major power shoulders. The length is to die for, anything shorter wouldn't have looked classy and anything longer would have been out of proportion. The crisp whiteness of the dress is perfect with her skin tone and looks gorgeous with her blonde hair and dark purple lipstick. I love her usual bouncy curls, they're fun and cute. The gold, strappy DSQUARED2 heels set the outfit off perfectly. I think the size of the clutch works but I probably would have gone for gold metal instead of red satin but that's just me, Rita's working it regardless. Her make-up is flawless - she looks stunning. Go Rita! But Miss Ora didn't just showcase one dress, she had a quick change during the night...

Rita tranforms from slick and sophistacated to cute and pretty. She changed into this beautiful Alexanda McQueen dress and I have to say I LOVE it - I just can't get enough. The black netting detail of the tutu skirt is the cutest thing I've seen in ages. It's youthful, playful and fun - everything Rita and her music represent. The floral pattern gives us a splash of colour which really helps lift the style of the dress, without it she could have strayed into Black Swan/Halloween territory. She stayed with the same gold heels and dark lippy and both really work with this dress, just like they did with the previous. I love the photo Rita tweeted (top right corner) because we can see the fullness of the skirt so well - it's so layered and poofy. The back is sexy and the cinched in waist is so flattering.

Not only did she look fab but Rita also scooped up the 'Best Newcomer' award. Congrats Miss Ora! What do you think of Rita's outfits?

Wishlist Item #1

I've decided I'm going to make wishlist item posts a feature on my blog because there is ALWAYS some boots, shoes, a dress, top, skirt, trousers, a bag or some jewellery that I NEED. My wishlist is as long as my arm so I know I'll always have something to show you and ramble on about! Today I'm starting with my very first item which is exciting! They're a very, very naughty pair of boots that I've had my eye on for some time!

They're 'Destiny' black leather leopard pony boots from Office and my God, are they hot! I seem to mention it in every post possible but I love leopard print so when I saw these beauties I fell head over heels (excuse the pun). I love that they're a mixture of print and black as it's quirky and cute. They're not too full on so you can still be playful when putting your outfits together. With an 8cm heel, they're perfect for day to night dressing which is fab when you've got a busy day ahead!

I'd pair these boots with some black skinny jeans, a simple tee, an oversized boyfriend coat (the Topshop coat featured in my October hitlist post would be PERFECT!) and a studded handbag for a chilled day time look. Alternatively they'd look just as cute with a black body-con midi skirt, a cropped shirt and a black leather jacket for something more formal like a meal. For a night on the tiles over the festive period, I'd pair these with a glittery dress (this William Tempest for River Island dress would be GORGEOUS!) and a simple clutch for a little va-va-voom.

At £85 they're not too expensive. Office always have great saver options too: flash your student card to save yourself 10% which is a handy £8.50 plus there is free UK standard delivery!

What do you think? Have you got your eye on any other Office specials?

Yayer Hot List

I stumbled across Yayer a few months ago and fell hook-line-and-sinker for it's grunge girl style. The brand began three years ago in 2009 as a small clothing label selling vintage inspired clothes to local boutiques. As their success grew, they decided to make an online store and they haven't looked back!

1. Yayer 'Denim Quest' maxi dress is one of my favourite items. I love the dungaree-style top of the dress, I think it's so cute and quirky. I kind of wish the bottom wasn't so floaty as that's not very me but either way, I still love the dress. I'd pair this with some Doc Martens, a black bowler and tons of gold rings and bracelets.

2. Yayer 'Criss Cross' jacket is such a smart, yet unique, blazer. I love that it's in black - classy, chic and goes with most things. The buttons are a nod to the 80's which I always appreciate as I love vintage. My fave feature though HAS to be the detailing on the arms, it's so sexy yet subtle. Gorgeous.

3. Yayer Sheer High Roller top is a risky little number! It's so 90s - my fave! It's no secret that I'm LOVING the turtle neck at the minute so that combined with the sheer and long sleeves make it PERFECT in my eyes! I'd wear this with high-waisted vintage Levi jeans and red high-top Converse for a chilled day look.

4. Yayer 'Glitter Girl' skater dress is so cute! Topshop had a similar dress last year and I was pretty gutted I lost out on it. I love skater dresses - they're so flattering and the glitter is PERFECT for the Christmas months. The scoop back is such a nice feature as it shows a little skin.

5. Yayer 'Wild Velvet' skater skirt is hot, hot, hot! I LOVE velvet and leopard print so this is like my PERFECT skirt. The elasticated skirt is such a helpful detail - it means I can eat more over the Christmas months without feeling too restricted (always a good thing!) At only £25, it's a complete steal. I'm going to buy this skirt on payday and wear it with my grey American Apparel crop top and some cute, heeled black boots.

6.Yayer 'Dark Side' skater skirt is gorgeous. I've wanted a black leather, skater skirt for some time now - and although this is only PU leather - it's still really cute. It's only £28 so it's a guilt free spend! I'd wear this with leopard print boots and sheer shirt buttoned to the top. Tooooo cute.
